Local Work Guarantee

You could have either skilled or semi skilled workers for up to 12 weeks FREE of charge. We currently run a 3 month employed work programme. This programme is designed to equip workers with the necessary basic employability skills and attitude to make them an asset to an employer. (Age range 16-60)

Further Wage Subsidies

Businesses employing someone from this programme can benefit from a substantial wage subsidy as follows:

  • Local Work Guarantee Traineeship Businesses employing a trainee and providing them with training up to Level 2 can receive a £75 per week wage subsidy for the first 36 weeks of the employment contract.
  • Local Work Guarantee Graduate Traineeship Businesses employing a graduate through the scheme can receive a £100 per week wage subsidy for the first 52 weeks of the employment contract.
  • Local Work Guarantee Apprenticeship Businesses employing an apprentice through the scheme can receive a £100 per week wage subsidy for the first 52 weeks of the employment contract.
