Gateway (Keepmoat Homes)

Proud of our roots

Keepmoat Homes' origins lie with small, family companies founded in Yorkshire in the 1930s which have grown to become the Keepmoat Group, a construction and regeneration specialist with an annual turnover of more than £600 million.

Despite this huge growth and change, our values are the same as they were 75 years ago; a commitment to quality, a belief in the ability to make a difference and the desire to be the very best at what we do.

We work in Yorkshire, the Midlands, the North East and North West of England, specialising in building high quality, affordable homes. More than a third of them are sold to first time buyers and many are built for social landlords as we work closely with government agencies, local authorities and other partners to regenerate communities.

We don't just deal in bricks and mortar; we also invest in communities by providing job and training opportunities; and in local initiatives to create neighbourhoods in which are proud to live and work.

Being environmentally responsible, safe in our working methods, committed to investing in our staff and establishing sound relationships with suppliers and partners are also core objectives.

Working in Hull

Keepmoat Homes is a key partner with Gateway, Hull's neighbourhood regeneration agency.

Operating on two key sites - St. Andrew's Square, where 106 new homes are under construction and the former Amy Johnson School site, where we're building 148 properties - we are delighted to be playing our part in the transformation of Newington and St Andrew's.

David Ward, Regional Managing Director at Keepmoat Homes, said: "We very much look forward to continuing to work with our partners to breathe new life into this area, helping to build community confidence and raise aspirations by creating training and job opportunities for local people."
